Cats and Quotes

In October 2024, I adopted three cats from SF Animal Care & Control. The three cats are sisters and look almost identical. After months of living with them, I still have trouble telling them apart. They were brought into the shelter after one of them had been hit by a car on the Great Highway at Ocean Beach. Their names are Sandy, Ocean, and Beach. These photos of the three sisters were taken since October.

The cat went here and there

And the moon spun round like a top,

And the nearest kin of the moon,

The creeping cat, looked up.

Black Minnaloushe stared at the moon,

For, wander and wail as he would,

The pure cold light in the sky

Troubled his animal blood.

Minnaloushe runs in the grass

Lifting his delicate feet.

do you dance?
